Flea/Tick--Neem, a herb from India is a fantastic natural cure for fleas & other parasites. It is safe to give dogs internally in the dried capsule form & also helpful to spread across carpets & rugs to get fleas where they live. Recipe:choose a big fat lemon--more rind the better. Slice paper thin & place in a bowl with Rosemary leaves or a 6 inch sprig of fresh Rosemary. Bring a quart of water to the brink of boiling then pour over this. Allow this to steep overnight and then strain & pour into a spray bottle. Keep this refrigerated & be sure to shake well before applying. In addition to keeping away fleas,ticks,mosquitos & other bugs this mixture will add a nice shine to your dogs coat. Spot remover--for carpets white vinegar is the best--cleans up easily & masks the smell --Nature's Miracle which is available frrom many pet stores, does a great job with spots & odor --Listerine will work effectively on spoots. Clean up what can be removed and then douse the spot with Listerine--rub it & then let it set. Antiseptic--Tea Tree oil, which is available in any health food store is great for cleaning wounds.
