Help Dusty!!

Please help Dusty!

Can you imagine what it would be like to have someone you trusted & interacted with daily come home one day & beat you to death?

.......what if you were tied up & couldn't get away?

.............what if the person used a baseball bat & sledgehammer to beat you without mercy?

.....................what if they beat you for 2- 3 hours taking time out for a beer break?

................................what if the rest of your 'loving' family was just yards away inside the house you called home---and they did nothing to help you----in spite of your cries & screams for help?

Could you as a neighbor or someone nearby do nothing??   If you are a normal person of course you couldn't!!!  This type of brutal, callous act is the result of a sick individual...one who has the potential to commit the same evil again!  We can not allow this twisted person to harm anyone else....We must all make our voices & our outrage heard!

Dusty, a young Lab-Dalmatian mix is the 'someone' who experienced the incomprehendable pain, suffering, torture & finally death described above at the hands of his previous owner, Michael T. Welch of Afton, MO. Dusty was hardly recognizeable after the attack;his young life was ended before it hardly got started---he wasn't even 2 yrs old.  Michael T. Welch walks around freely awaiting trial.  His lawyer contends that he 'loved' Dusty?!?  If this is his idea of love I would be afraid to see what he does to someone he hates!!!!

We can not bring Dusty back or ease the awful suffering that he endured..but we can make sure that another dog or human does not experience the same.  Only your voice will change things!  Welch's lawyer is counting on the element of time to have the 'noise' die down & people forget about what happened to Dusty. Let's make sure that doesn't happen!  Please check out the shelter's webpage to see how you can help---->http://www.apagc.com

A very wise man said that all that is need for evil to succeed is for good men to stand by & do nothing----We can not afford to do nothing...this guy could have been in your neighborhood--if he will do this to a helpless dog what is to stop him from doing this to another human???

Thanx for caring!!!!!
